For whom is the Neseda STANDARD

Neseda STANDARD chair: has a simpler design and a more modest choice of colours (black / anthracite). However, the materials used for upholstery are of the same quality as for the Premium chair. The chair has a simplified backrest made of beautiful, double-bent plywood. Compared to the Premium version, it has a differently shaped seat cushion, which is divided into two halves and has a large, airy space in the middle for people who need it for health reasons (haemorrhoids, sensitive or damaged tailbone, others). In addition, the Neseda Standard chair has the added bonus that the backrest can be height-adjusted in a 5-centimeter range so that the position of the center of the backrest supports your sacral (lumbar) area well.

Basic product information

• the chair is designed for the purpose of active alternation of different sitting positions
• the following 6 different seating positions can be rotated on the chair:
  • classic sit-up, Turkish sit-up, low and high kneeling, deep squat and sit-up with chest support
• we recommend spending approximately 20 – 50 minutes in each position
• the healthiest sitting position for you – is the following one
• the chair is designed for adults
• the chair can be used by children, although it is primarily designed for adult anatomy
• the chair has a load capacity of up to 100 kg and the ideal user height is up to 190 cm
• taller and heavier people have limitations in the use of certain seating positions
• the chair itself has a weight of 20 kg
• the chair is not a medical device
• if you have any mobility limitations, consult a specialist (doctor, physiotherapist) before using the NESEDA chair to determine the correct use of the chair for your individual limitations
• the chair must be used in accordance with the instructions
• we provide a 3-year warranty on the goods
• any use of the chair outside of the instructions may cause health complications, injury, or reduce the life of the product

Materials chosen, functional design and use:

• honest craftsmanship using quality materials (solid wood, plywood, steel, quality fabric)
• the seat, backrest and some other design parts are handmade in Slovakia and the Czech Republic
• standard elements such as wheels, cross, piston or mechanics come from reputable suppliers and manufacturers
• the seat is upholstered with highly durable fabric, which can withstand a hundred thousand abrasions (mantindels) due to its quality
• the central part of the seat cushions (the gap) is designed to reduce pressure on the prostate or other health complications on this part of the body
• the narrow backrest increases the possibilities of movement while sitting, for example in a straddle position with the back resting on the chest
• the oversized seat (46 x 57 cm) is designed to provide plenty of legroom in positions such as Turkish sit-up and deep squat
• the chair is equipped with self-braking castors, but regular castors or gliders are also included for replacement
• we recommend using self-braking wheels for normal use and active changing of seating positions
• the chair’s centre of gravity is specially balanced to prevent falling in any position
